The deadline for a time victory is usually the year 2050 AD, but it is possible to change it to an earlier year or a predetermined number of years. Age of Wonders III is such a good game, its a perennial install on my PC and I float in and out of it all the time. Many new technologies allow the player to build a new wonder. Time victory is achieved by the player with the highest score by the end of the time period, assuming no one has achieved any of the above victory conditions. (Variations are dependent on player progress in each era. My suggestions are Civ 5 or Age of Wonders 3.
